HIGH POINT, N.C. - Sunday's High Point Rockers game against Gastonia was called due to rain after three innings with the Rockers holding a 5-0 lead.

Atlantic League rules state that a game halted prior to becoming an official game must be replayed from the beginning. The Rockers and Honey Hunters will make-up the game on Tuesday, July 13 as part of a doubleheader. That is the next time that Gastonia is scheduled to visit the Rockers.

The July 13 game will start at 5 p.m. and will be part of a doubleheader along with the regularly scheduled game for that day. Ticket holders for today's game may redeem their tickets for any Rockers regular season home game this season. The July 13 doubleheader will consist of two seven inning games.

The Rockers had scored in every inning in building their 5-0 lead but none of the stats from the game will count.

Left fielder Cesar Trejo staked the Rockers to a 1-0 lead by leading off the Rockers' half of the first with a solo homer to center.

In the second inning, second baseman Edwin Arroyo drilled a one-out double into the leftfield corner, moved to third on a single by Logan Moore and scored on Gio Alfonzo's sacrifice fly to center for a 2-0 lead. Moore would score on a single to right by Adam Taylor.

The Rockers added two more runs in the third as DH Stuart Levy slammed his second homer in as many games. Levy's homer to left scored Jared Mitchell who had singled with two outs.

High Point starting pitcher Bryce Hensley threw three innings and allowed just a single hit, a two-out single by Josh Sale in the second inning.

The Rockers will be off on Monday, June 7 before starting a six-game road trip to Long Island and West Virginia. High Point kicks off a three-game set at Long Island on Tuesday, June 8 at 6:35 p.m.
