Green Bay, Wis.- RHP Nathan Disch (Appleton West H.S./Jacksonville) receives the next start for the Bullfrogs who look to culminate a two-and-two home stand heading into a weekend series with the Lakeshore Chinooks. Green Bay has scored 20 runs in their last two contests including a recent 11-run showing featuring 17 total hits.

Despite stellar offensive prowess, Skip Handelsman's club will try to improve on defense. The Bullfrogs have committed ten errors this season and had to dive further into their bullpen after last night's 14-11 defeat. With a consistent and complete offense, a clean bill in the field will give Green Bay a chance at splitting another series to end the four-game home series.

The Bullfrogs will look for a strong outing from Disch to fend off the Rox who have scored a Northwoods League best 29 runs in 2015. St. Cloud counters with a 6'4" RHP from Paradise Valley C.C., Ryan Kokora. Both are making their season Northwoods League debuts.

In game one at Joannes Stadium, the Rox put up seven runs in the third inning and five runs in the ninth to rally from a two-run deficit against bullpen arm, Alex Martinez (De Anza College). Catcher Austin Athmann (Minnesota) will be of particular focus for Green Bay pitchers, as the Golden Gopher finished four for six with three RBI in his lone contest against the Bullfrogs.

A slew of bullpen threats joined the Bullfrogs yesterday and should provide a more bolstered back end of a still incomplete pitching staff. Ryan Radue (Fox Valley Lutheran H.S./UConn), Parker Hamilton (Florida Gulf Coast), and Tyler McDowell (Washington State) all are now active pitchers for Green Bay. McDowell, who had three hits in his debut, also plays the corner infield spots as well as outfield.

The one-and-two Bullfrogs also head into game two against St. Cloud with more catching depth. Axel Poesmans (Globe Institute of Technology) overcame a tough start behind the plate yesterday with a two-hit game including a two-RBI base hit. In addition to Poesmans and Franco Guardascione (Jacksonville), catcher Adam Vignola (Trinity International) was placed on the Bullfrogs roster, and entered the latter third of Thursday evening's contest.

Tonight's game features the ZOOperstars!, a set of fan favorite inflatable characters that are making their first of two season appearances at Joannes Stadium. It's also the Aurora BayCare Medical Center Strike Out Stroke Awareness Night. The Bullfrogs battle Lakeshore for their first roads game May 30-31.

Green Bay Bullfrogs group tickets, season tickets and 7-game packages are on sale now. The Bullfrogs hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. For more information please visit www.greenbaybullfrogs.com.
