Moline, IL-Quad City Mallards President and General Manager Howard Cornfield today announced that forwards Joe Dusbabek (Doos-bob-eck) and Drew Otten and defensemen Serge Crochetiere (crow-sha-tear) and Martin Wilde (will-dee) have been reassigned to the Mallards by the Hershey Bears of the American League. The Bears are the primary affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League.
Dusbabek, Otten and Crochetiere join the Mallards roster officially after signing contracts with the club earlier this summer. Wilde will be joining the team after playing over 100 pro games in the American League and Europe.

Modo is one of the premier franchises in Europe and has produced many elite level players including NHLers Peter Forsberg and the Sedin twins. Wilde recorded three points (a goal and two assists) with 34 penalty minutes during his season with Modo.
Prior to beginning his pro career, Wilde played 111 collegiate games at the University of Vermont. At Vermont, Wilde tallied six goals and 45 assists for 51 points over four seasons.
The Mallards have 19 players under contract for 2004-05.
