FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals of the United Hockey League announce the team talk show "Generally Speaking" originate from Grand Blanc Inn, located at G-5313 S. Dort Hwy. in Grand Blanc Township. The airtime schedule will be live on Monday nights from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and can be heard on WFNT-AM 1470.

"We are happy to be back on the air with "Generally Speaking" at the Grand Blanc Inn and on WFNT," said Vice President & Head Coach, Robbie S. Nichols. "We enjoy the live atmosphere and the chance to interact with our fans. This show gives us the chance to update everyone on the latest news and information on our team. We hope everyone will come out the Grand Blanc Inn for our shows. If not, we always hope you will tune in live on WFNT."

The first show of the season is Monday, October 11, 2004. Your questions and comments are welcome.

The Flint Generals hit the ice for two U.H.L. pre-season contests hosting the Port Huron Beacons on Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 7:35 p.m. The Generals will host the Jr. Generals in an exhibition game on Friday, October 8, 2004 at 7:35 p.m. All proceeds from the Jr. Generals game will benefit youth hockey programs in Genesee County and surrounding areas.

The Generals open their 12th season of play in the league with the regular season home opener on Friday, October 15, 2004 against the Muskegon Fury at 7:35 p.m. at Perani Arena. Season tickets are on sale at TicketMaster at Perani Arena by calling (810) 742-9422.
