
Hernandez Selected Pitcher of the Week

The American Association announced today that Winnipeg Goldeyes pitcher Nick Hernandez is the Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending June 2.
Hernandez, 27, pitched a complete-game shutout against the Amarillo ThunderHeads Wednesday night in a 7-0 win to claim the honour. It's the second time this season Hernandez has won the award. He was selected pitcher of the week on June 7 as well.
