Jupiter Hammerheads News Release
JUPITER, FL - Florida Marlin Jeremy Hermida made a rehab appearance at Roger Dean Stadium for the Jupiter Hammerheads as they faced the Daytona Cubs. Hermida went one for two with a single and a ground out to first.
The Hammerheads started Manuel Olivera in place of Matt Goyen. Olivera pitched 4.0 innings and allowed two earned runs. Trevor Hutchinson got the loss after pitching 1.2 innings and allowing six hits, and seven runs, two of which were earned.
Dante Brinkley hit a home run to lead off the 4th inning, but that was the highlight for offense for the Hammerheads. The Cubs scored 10 runs and put the game out of reach with a seven run 6th inning.
Tomorrow the Hammerheads are off and will try to regroup before they play a three game series in Brevard against the Manatees.
