SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Stampede is well represented in this year's NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championships with 19 former players and two former coaches on the benches of NCAA programs competing.

The NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championships begin on March 28th with regional semi-finals. This year, Stampede fans have the opportunity to see six former players and one former coach take the ice at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center as the arena hosts the Sioux Falls Regional. With 16 teams fighting for the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Champion title, the winners of each regional will meet at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. in April.

As mentioned, the Stampede boasts 19 total players and coaches across ten teams finding their way to regionals this weekend. Behind the benches, former Stampede Head Coach Bob Motzko leads the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers and former Assistant Coach Nick Oliver assists the University of Wisconsin Badgers' program.
