Hens Rally Back for Third Straight Road Victory

The Mud Hens overcame a four-run deficit to earn their third straight road victory in a 9-7 win in Syracuse Thursday night.

After trailing 6-2 in the second inning, the Mud Hens chipped away before splurging for five runs in the sixth and seventh innings to steal away the win.

Seven Hens picked up at least two hits in the effort, including Nick Castellanos, who doubled and knocked in three runs for Toledo. Danny Dorn also picked up two hits, including his 13th homer, a two-run blast in the sixth.

The Mud Hens took the lead for good in the seventh when Brandon Douglas singled in a run and scored on a Nick Castellanos two-run double to give the Hens their third straight road victory.

The Hens will look to win their fourth straight tomorrow in Syracuse at 7:00 p.m.
