Hens Lose Duel in Columbus
April 20, 2013 - International League (IL1)
Toledo Mud Hens News Release
Pat Misch was excellent, but a late home run for the Clippers was the difference in a 1-0 loss in Columbus on Saturday night.
The game was scoreless until the seventh inning when Juan Diaz connected for a home run off Misch for the only run of the game. Misch was otherwise stellar, allowing six hits and striking out seven over seven innings.
John Lindsey continued to punish Clippers pitching, connecting for both of the Hens hits on the night.
The Hens will look to pick it back up offensively tomorrow at 1:05 p.m. in Columbus. Casey Crosby is scheduled to take the hill for the Mud Hens.
