Green Bay Gamblers News Release

GREEN BAY, WI - Green Bay goaltender Leo Henriquez earned a shutout victory over the Lincoln Stars by stopping all 21 shots he faced and scored his first career USHL goal to help the Gamblers to a 5-0 win at the Resch Center Saturday night for Dash for Cash, Family Night, and Skate with Night.

The Gamblers opened the scoring midway through the first period, when David Rozsival found the back of the net for the 18th time this season off an assist from Gunnar Conboy.

Just like the previous matchup between the two squads, neither team was able to reach the scoresheet again until the third period, when passes from Green Bay's Gavin Katz and Andrew O'Sullivan found Zach Wooten, who fired a shot past the Lincoln goaltender.

With 90 seconds to play in the contest and the Stars with an extra attacker on the ice, Henriquez gathered the puck behind his own net and sent it the length of the ice into the Lincoln net in front of over 7,000 fans to put the Gamblers up 3-0.

Green Bay added two more goals in the final minute of play from Oliver McKinney and Cruz Martin to secure the team's 28th win of the season.

Green Bay, which outshot the Stars 40-21 in the contest, will hit the road to take on the Dubuque Fighting Saints Feb. 20 at 7:05 p.m.

The Gamblers will return to the Resch Center after a three-game road trip on Feb. 27 when they face off against the Eastern Conference-leading Youngstown Phantoms for Pokémon Night and Mystery Drink Special Night at 7:05 p.m.
