Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - Spend your Saturday night at the CenturyTel Center this weekend as the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs face the Allen Americans on "Autism Awareness Night" at 7:05. As the 'Bugs look to stay in first place against a tough squad from Allen, we'll also be raising money and awareness about autism here in our community.
For our November charity game, the Mudbugs are highlighting the Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the Autism Society of America. ASA, the nation's leading grassroots autism organization, is dedicated to improving the lives of all affected by autism in communities around the country.
One dollar from every ticket sold for Saturday night's game will go to benefit the local chapter of the Autism Society, so you can help the cause just by purchasing tickets for an entertaining night of hockey with family or friends! Click here for more information on the Autism Society's Northwest Louisiana Chapter.
The Mudbugs beat the Americans 6-3 last week on the road after Allen had won the first two matchups between the teams this season here in Bossier City. Bossier-Shreveport and Allen are currently the top two teams in the CHL's Berry Conference, so don't miss out on this battle of top teams in the South!
