San Angelo Colts News Release
San Angelo, Texas---After the Colts won last night's game against the Thunder, fans stayed at Foster Field to watch ladies, 18 and older, dig for a 1.2 Karat Diamond Ring courtesy of Legend Jewelers.
It took 27 minutes before a winner smiled into the cameras and was introduced to a near-capacity crowd of 4,180; the lucky lady was Heather Honea from San Angelo. She has lived in the town for ten years. Heather has reason to celebrate because the ring's estimated value is 1,800 dollars.
This is the fourth year that Legend Jewelers has sponsored the Diamond Dig for the San Angelo Colts. The excitement of the Diamond Dig coincided with the Chamber of Commerce Night and $2.00 Tuesdays.
San Angelo continues it's longest home stretch of the season with games against Coastal bend through Friday Night. For more information on Colts baseball, go to our website at www.sanangelocolts.com. We will see you at Foster Field.
