Heat Sign Goaltender Grant Rollheiser

Abbotsford, BC - Abbotsford Heat General Manager Jay Feaster announced the signing of goaltender Grant Rollheiser today.

Rollheiser attended Heat Training Camp this past Fall after four years with the Boston University Terriers. In his freshman season, Rollheiser made 12 appearances as the Terriers won the 2009 NCAA Championship, the fifth in school history.

The Chilliwack, BC product has played 18 games with the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) this season posting a record of seven wins, eight losses and three shootout losses. The 23-year-old has a 3.37 GAA, a .890 SAV% and one shutout in his first professional season.

The Toronto Maple Leafs originally selected Rollheiser in the sixth round (158th overall) in the 2008 Entry Draft.
