B-Sens Loan Goaltender Marc Cheverie to Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have loaned goaltender March Cheverie to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Cheverie, 25, was recalled to Binghamton from Elmira for the first time this season on Jan. 12. He appeared in goal for the B-Sens on Jan. 19 at Bridgeport making 25 saves. He also dressed as the B-Sens back-up goaltender for an additional seven games, but did not play.

The 6-2, 185-pound Cheverie has posted a record of 10-9-1 with 2.72 goals-against average and .913 save percentage in 21 games with the Jackals this season.

The Elmira Jackals see action tonight as they host the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:05 p.m.

The B-Sens return to action tomorrow as they travel to Hershey to take on the Bears at 7 p.m. Fans can listen live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM) beginning 15 minutes before game time as Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens, hosts the Countdown to Faceoff.
