Brandon Davidson Returns to Barons Lineup

Oklahoma City - Oklahoma City Barons defenseman Brandon Davidson returned to the Barons lineup Friday night, just three months after undergoing successful treatment for testicular cancer.

Davidson, a 6-1, 202-pounder from Lethbridge, Alberta last played on October 28 against Texas. His treatment included removing the cancerous tissue and one round of chemotherapy. Davidson was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the sixth round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft (162nd overall).

The Barons host Grand Rapids in a two-game set this weekend. Faceoff for both games is 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center. The games can be heard on the Barons flagship station, 96.1 KXY.

Saturday, the Barons are giving away a Ford Taurus tomorrow night in the Drive Away Every Saturday promotion.
