
Heat Get Close, Can't Overcome Utica City FC in 1-5 Loss

Julian Escobar scores two goals in a game closer than the final scoreline would indicate In Utica on Sunday afternoon, the Harrisburg Heat stormed back to get their game against Utica City FC to 6-5 and they had the power play. Harrisburg would fail to capitalize and shortly thereafter allow a goal to make it a 7-5 game. The Heat would pull the goalie, but three goals late made the final more flattering for Utica in a 10-5 final.
Matt Perrella made his season debut in goal for Harrisburg and came into the game, making some key saves for the HEAT to keep it close. The offensive attack for Harrisburg was paced by Julian Escobar's two goals and a goal and an assist from Ricardo Carvalho.
For Utica, Bo Jelovac scored four goals, the second straight game Harrisburg has allowed a hat trick against them. Ex Harrisburg player Lucio Gonzaga had 1 goal and 2 assists for Utica.
Harrisburg (1-3) is off for two weeks and will play next in Canada against the Mississauga Metro Stars on December 30th, at 3.05pm EST.
