The Harrisburg Heat have reached the mid-way point of the season still looking to get its first win as the undefeated Baltimore Blast knocked off the Heat 6-4 in from of 6600 fans in Baltimore Saturday night. The Blast have won all four meetings this season against the Heat.

The Heat rallied from a 4 goal deficit in the third quarter with two goals from Tyler Witmer and one goal from Christopher Williams to cut the lead to one. But the Blast got insurance goals from Vinnie Dantas and Lucas Roque in the 4th to hang on for the win. Lucio Gonzaga had a late goal for Harrisburg.

Baltimore outshot Harrisburg 39-10. Heat keeper Scott Krotee had 25 saves in a losing effort, including two shootout saves. The Blast also took advantage of one of four power play opportunities. Williams Vanzela got the victory with 5 saves for the Blast, who remain the only unbeaten team in the MASL at 11-0.

The Heat continue with their 5 game road trip next weekend in Cedar Rapids and Chicago.
