Heat Earn Point But Fall in Overtime against Texas

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Heat force overtime thanks to a Mason Raymond power-play goal late in the third, but ultimately a penalty in overtime leads to a Texas Stars power-play goal of their own, giving Texas the 3-2 overtime win Saturday night at Stockton Arena. Raymond's marker was his second power-play goal in as many games, while Bill Arnold added a goal of his own in the first 90 seconds of the third, but Texas Maxime Lagace proved difficult to solve and the Heat only could come away with one point.
