Heat drop a 6-1 decision

Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat dropped a 6-1 decision to the San Antonio Rampage on Saturday in the first ever country-themed night at the AESC featuring a post-game concert with Aaron Pritchett. The home club outshot the Rampage 39-26 on the night but was only able to get one past the San Antonio netminder.

Abbotsford's goal was scored by Ben Walter who tallied for the 14th time this season. The third period marker increased his point total to 47 (14-33-47) which is tops on the team.

These two division rivals will get right back at tomorrow afternoon when they wrap-up their season series at the AESC in a contest that will feature "Two Minutes for Ruffing" where fans are invited to bring their dog to the game. Puck drop is scheduled for 1:00pm and the game can be heard live at theahl.com or on Country 107.1.
