Boise Hawks News Release
Join us at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, June 4th from 12:00-3:00 p.m. to audition for a chance to sing the National Anthem at a Boise Hawks' home game this summer.
Anyone is welcome to audition; check in will start at noon and auditions are open until 3:00 p.m. Both Individuals and groups are welcome to try out.
The Hawks are looking for clean and traditional versions of the Star Spangled Banner.
Instrumentation is open for consideration, but vocal performers are preferred.
Performers who can sing or learn to sing God Bless America and the Canadian National Anthem will be considered as well for special occasion games (these songs are not necessarily required to be selected).
Each participant will stand in front of a panel of Hawks' front office staff and sing the Anthem from the beginning until the judges raise a hand to signify they have heard enough to make an assessment.
After the auditions, Hawks' staff will reach out to the participants to inform them of the outcome. If the participant has been selected, they will be assigned a game date and information needed to successfully execute the performance procedures.
The Hawks open at home on June 20th against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes.
