Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Lincoln rallied from a two-goal deficit to double-up the Hawks 6-3 on Saturday.
All the Black Hawk goals came in a roughly three-minute window. After Jared Brown scored shorthanded for Lincoln, Kyle Reeds tied the game during the same Black Hawks powerplay at 17:26 of the first period.
Billy Maday scored with less than a minute remaining in the first, and Josh Turnbull put in a goal 33 seconds into the second. Brown registered a hat trick before the second period ended, however, and Steve Schultz scored the game-winner early in the third off of Ryan Rondeau's skate. The Stars added two more to quash Waterloo's comeback hopes.
The Hawks play once more on the road Wednesday in Indiana, and return home Friday to meet the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets.
