South Bend Silver Hawks News Release

South Bend, IN - The South Bend Silver Hawks fall to the Fort Wayne Wizards by the score of 6-1.

Jordan Norberto (4-7) had a rough night tonight. Norberto gave up 6 runs and 5 hits in 4.2 innings of work. Norberto was ejected in the 5th inning for arguing balls and strikes.

The Silver Hawks bats could not solve Wynn Pelzer. South Bend only managed 1 run on the night. Taylor Harbin and Chance Wheeless led the team with 2 hits apiece.

The Silver Hawks and Wizards will play game 2 of their series on Sunday. Game time is slated for 1:30 PM.
