
Havoc snaps skid, blasts Barracudas

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Craig Miller scored four goals as the Huntsville Havoc snapped a four-game home losing streak with a 9-2 win over the Jacksonville Barracudas Saturday night.
Jacksonville scored first on a Steve Zoryk power play goal just 2:13 into the game. The Havoc responded when Craig Bushey scored at 3:47 to tie the game at 1-1. Miller added his first goal at the 5:26 and the Havoc had their first lead.
Zoryk tied the score again with 7:19 left in the first. Dan Pszenyczny scored with 3:53 left as Huntsville took a 3-2 into the first intermission.
Mike O'Sullivan scored with 15:52 left in the second and Miller added his second goal a minute later and the Havoc had a 5-2 lead heading into the third period.
Huntsville erupted for four goals in the third period as James Patterson scored at the 4:55 mark. Miller added the hat-trick goal with 8:18 left and Mike O'Sullivan scored his second goal of the night on the power play with 3:21 left. Miller put the finishing touches on a great night with 2:18 to go.
The Havoc outshot Jacksonville 42-30 as Matt Carmichael stopped 28 to get the win. Ryan Person stopped 33 in the loss.
