
Havoc season ends in OT

Huntsville Havoc News Release
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Tim Velemirovich scored 5:41 into overtime giving the Fayetteville FireAntz a 5-4 win over the Huntsville Havoc in the first round of the SPHL Playoffs. Velemirovich and Mike Clarke both scored two goals on the night and Jarrett Robertson scored one. Dan Buccella scored two goals for the Havoc and Craig Bushey and Bill Monkman scored one each. Chad Collins got the win stopping 27 shots. Matt Carmichael stopped 26 in the loss. The Havoc were whistled for 24 penalty minutes to only eight for the FireAntz and also had one goal waived off. The FireAntz will play the winner of the Richmond-Knoxville series in the second round.
