Huntsville Havoc News Release
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Huntsville Havoc head coach, John Gibson, was forced to shuffle the roster in preparation for tonight's game in Knoxville.
Forward Kelly Miller has left the team and joined the Fort Wayne Komets of the United Hockey League. Defenseman, Jason deGuehery is also out due to personal reasons. Defenseman, Justin Schmit, was suspended one game by the SPHL for receiving his fourth game misconduct of the season.
The team did sign defenseman Emerson Mish. Mish (6-0, 200) played in one game for the Elmira Jackals of the UHL earlier this season after playing in 25 games at SUNY-Cortland from 2003-2006. He scored four goals and recorded 13 assists in his college career.
The Havoc will travel to Knoxville tonight before returning home Saturday night to host the Jacksonville Barracudas. The puck drops at 7:30 as the Havoc will wear special jerseys and auction them off after the game. The money raised will benefit the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund.
