Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks News Release
ATTLEBORO, MA - The Hat Tricks are back in action this weekend, traveling to Attleboro to take on the Northeast Generals for the first time since September. The Hat Tricks are coming off of a split last weekend against the Nordiques, and the Generals are coming off of two losses in Johnstown against the Tomahawks.
The Hat Tricks currently sit in seventh place in the NAHL East, fourteen points behind the Northeast Generals who sit in fourth. These two teams opened up the season against each other, way back on the 8th and 9th of September. Both of those games went the way of the Generals, but the Hat Tricks were a drastically different team then.
There were eight skaters in the contest on the 9th of September who are no longer with the Hat Tricks.
Friday's game also marks the first of seven straight games between the squads. There will be a three-game set Friday-Sunday, a weekend series in Danbury next weekend, followed by another series in Attleboro two weeks later.
The Hat Tricks continue to be paced by their top line of Jazz Krivtsov, Gabe Dombrowski, and Mike Salandra. Krivtsov tallied four goals last weekend against Maine to take home player of the week honors for the Eastern Division.
Northeast is being led by a trio of players who have 88 points between them. David Andreychuk (31 points), Brent Keefer (29 points), and Paul Minnehan (28 points) lead the way for Northeast who is 5-4-0-1 in their last ten games.
Friday and Saturday's games will start at 7 p.m. while Sunday's contest will have a 3 p.m. matinee puck drop.
You can follow along with all the action online by subscribing to the Hat Tricks' various social media channels. You can also watch the games live on HockeyTV.
