Trenton Devils News Release
TRENTON, NJ (July 13, 2004) - The Trenton Titans announced today that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Josh Harrold for the 2004-05 season.
Harrold, 28, was acquired from the Cincinnati Cyclones in exchange for Tyler Kindle at last season's trade deadline. The Kirtland Hills, OH native chipped in 1 goal and an assist over nine games as the Titans made their push for the post-season.
"We're happy to have Josh back," said Titans Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Mike Haviland. "He brings a veteran presence that will be crucial to our success along the blueline and he gives us some offensive capability as well.
Harrold's best season came in 2000-01 when he notched 12 goals and 28 assists in 72 games for the Mobile Mystics, formerly of the ECHL. Now entering his sixth professional season, Harrold was a four-year letterman at Miami University, totalling 57 points (15g, 42 a) in 126 games.
