Bloomington Extreme News Release
BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - The Extreme will have a familiar face roaming the defensive backfield Saturday night. Justin Harrison will make his season debut as Bloomington tries to gain back their winning-ways when they travel to Omaha, Neb., to take on the Beef at the Omaha Civic Center. Kick-off is set for 7:05 p.m.
The Extreme (3-4) could have used Harrison's services last week against Rochester. A defense that had held Maryland to six points April 17, was nowhere to be found last week as the Raiders' offensive put together a potent attack in a 56-41 victory over Bloomington. Raider running back Jamil Porter scored four touchdowns, while wide receiver Kevin Concepcion caught three touchdowns to lead Rochester. Extreme wide receiver Charles Sullivan caught three touchdowns to lead Bloomington.
It has been a disappointing start to the season for Omaha who enters the game with a record of 2-4, though the Beef are coming off an impressive 50-49 victory over Green Bay last week. The Beef are led by quarterback Ben Sanky who as completed 63 percent of his pass attempts for 1,094 yards with 27 touchdowns and six interceptions. His favorite target has been wide receiver Luke McArdle who has caught 13 touchdowns this season.
