Harrison receives AHL call-up

Rockford, Ill.-Another Rockford IceHogs skater received a promotion to the American Hockey League. The United Hockey League team announced Wednesday that winger Terry Harrison was called-up to the Milwaukee Admirals.

Harrison is the IceHogs third player to receive a promotion this season. The second year pro will make his AHL debut Wednesday night when the Admirals take on the San Antonio Rampage at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

For the season, Harrison has compiled 7g-13a-20pts with a plus/minus rating of plus-4, in 26 games with Rockford. Harrison is expected to suit up for Milwaukee, while the IceHogs are in Fraser, Michigan taking on the Motor City Mechanics Wednesday.

The Hogs skilled forward will join current Chicago Wolves defenseman Tim Wedderburn, as Rockford skaters on loan to the AHL. Wedderburn was also on call-up to the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks when the 2004-05 season commenced in October. Goaltender Michel Robinson received a call-up from Milwaukee earlier in the season.

Rockford is about to begin a three-game road swing that will see them play games in Motor City (Wednesday), Port Huron (Friday) and Fort Wayne (Sunday), before returning home for a rematch against Motor City Sunday at the Rockford MetroCentre.

Next Home Game: Sunday, December 19 vs. Motor City Mechanics. Game time is 1:05 p.m. The Mechanics make their final visit to Rockford during the 2004-05 season. Sunday is another Family Four Pack day. Fans can get four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks for only $40!
