(Harrisburg, PA) Third baseman Shawn Norris ripped a base hit to left field scoring Rich Lane with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as Harrisburg edged New Hampshire 5-4 Tuesday night in Eastern League action.

The Senators (7-6) rallied to tie the game in the bottom of the eighth inning with a bases loaded sacrifice fly off the bat of catcher Drew McMillan.

In the ninth inning, Fisher Cat reliever Steve Andrade (0-1) allowed a leadoff single to Lane (1-for-4). Edgar Gonzalez bunted him to second. RF Melvin Nieves, who had hit a two-run homer in the first inning, was intentionally walked. Jordan DeJong came out of the bullpen to get Craig Kuzmic on a grounder before yielding the game winning hit to Norris (2-fo-4, 1 run, 1 RBI).

Harrisburg had taken a 2-0 lead in the first on Nieves' second homer of the year off starter Vince Perkins. They extended the lead to 3-0 in the second on a single by Marcus Nettles driving in Norris, who had doubled.

The Fisher Cats scored four runs in the fifth inning to take the lead. Erik Kratz walked, Ron Acuna singled, and Carlo Cota followed with a three-run homer, his second of the year. Senator starter Rich Rundles then allowed a Kevin Barker single, a Maikel Jova single, and and a Raul Tablado single scoring Barker for a 4-3 Fisher Cat lead.

Harrisburg relievers Jason Bergman and Chris Schroder did not allow any runs after that. Schroder (2-0) struck out the side in the 9th inning to earn his second win. The Fisher Cats wrap up the seven-game road trip Wednesday afternoon in Harrisburg against the Senators (Nationals AA).

Right hander Cam Reimers (1-0, 1.32) starts for New Hampshire against Harrisburg right hander Kip Bouknight (0-0, 3.00). Game time is 12:05pm. New Hampshire returns home to Fisher Cats Ballpark to open a seven-game homestand against Binghamton and Harrisburg on Thursday night.
