Harrisburg Heat Win First Game of Season in Thrilling 7-6 Final
December 8, 2018 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Harrisburg Heat News Release
In their second game of the season, Harrisburg showed their might by overcoming what they were unable to do last week. It seemed the script was going to repeat itself for a second straight week but Tavoy Morgan would have none of it, by burying the game winner just 21 seconds left on the clock to send the 2,762 fans from New Holland Arena home in elation.
Morgan had two goals and earned #1 star of the night honors. Ricardo Carvalho also scored two as did Domenic Francis earning 2nd and 3rd stars of the night honors respectively. William Banahene earned his first MASL win in net, making 10 saves as the Heat moves to 1-1 on the season. The Ambush (1-2) were led by the two goals from Zach Reget and two points each from Justin Stinson and Magui Souza.
Harrisburg is now set for six straight road games, beginning with two games this weekend, Friday night in Lakeland, Florida against the Florida Tropics and Sunday afternoon against Utica City FC in update New York.
The next HEAT home game is on Friday, January 25th against the same Utica City squad, followed a day later on Saturday, January 26th against their rivals down 83 in the Baltimore Blast. Tickets for all remaining home games are on sale at www.harrisburgheat.com.
