
Game Preview: Dallas Sidekicks Play the Ontario Fury on the Road

(ALLEN, TEXAS) - The Dallas Sidekicks play their first matchup against the Ontario Fury of the 2018-2019 season on December 9th, 2018 at 7.35 PM CT at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA.
The last time the Sidekicks and the Fury faced each other was in the 2016-2017 season and Fury won 10-8. After a scoreless first period, the Fury took the lead for good as Jinho Kim scored the first of his two goals in the game with 3:32 to go in the second quarter, giving Ontario a 3-2 lead that it would build to 4-3 at halftime.
In the second half, the Fury expanded its lead, never allowing the Sidekicks back into the game. Ontario led by four goals, at 10-6, with the Fury scoring twice against the sixth attacker. Dallas scored twice with the sixth attacker in the final two minutes.
Maicon de Abreu had two goals and one assist, while "Chico" Francisco Cordiero had a goal and two assists in the win. Cody Ellis had four assists and Jaime Lovegrove and Nestor Hernandez had two goals each for the Sidekicks
The Sidekicks' next regular season game is at home on Dec. 15th against the El Paso Coyotes at the Allen Event Center at 7.00 PM CT. Fans can watch the game on MASLTV or stay tuned to the Sidekicks' social media pages for updates.
