Harrisburg Heat News Release
Kevin Healey, President of the Harrisburg Heat, announced the Heat schedule for the 2018/2019 Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) season. The Harrisburg Heat opens their season with a home game versus the Utica City FC (formerly Syracuse Silver Knights) on Saturday, December 1st at 7:05 P.M. at the Farm Show Arena. The MASL schedule this season has been expanded to 24 games up from 22 last year. The Harrisburg Heat play each team in the Eastern Division six times. They have three home and away games with the Baltimore Blast, Utica City FC and the Mississauga MetroStars, the MASL's first Canadian franchise. The Mississauga team is a new expansion team that joined the MASL for the current season. In addition, the Heat also plays each team in the South/Central Division. The Heat has away games with the Florida Tropics and the Kansas City Comets. The Heat plays the Milwaukee Wave and the Orlando SeaWolves at home. The Heat will also play the St. Louis Ambush both home and away this year.
After opening their season with two home games, the Heat go on an extended and very tough six game road trip before returning home at the Farm Show Arena on January 25th. The schedule also features six home games in the row to complete the regular season beginning March 17th and ending the MASL regular season at home on April 6th against the Mississauga MetroStars.
