SeaWolves to Lead off 2018/19 MASL Schedule

ORLANDO, FL - All eyes will be on the Orlando SeaWolves when they host the St. Louis Ambush on November 30 at 7:35pm at Silver Spurs Arena inside Osceola Heritage Park. It is the the very first game on the 204-game schedule the Major Arena Soccer League announced today. The SeaWolves 24-game regular season will conclude at home on April 13 against the Florida Tropics.
The SeaWolves will host each of their eight fellow-Eastern Conference members, including the three-time defending Ron Newman Cup champion Baltimore Blast (December 14), expansion Mississauga MetroStars (December 22), and newly-relocated Utica City FC (April 12). SeaWolves fans will get three looks at the local rivals from Lakeland, the Florida Tropics (March 2, March 15, and April 13).
In all, 11 of their 12 home games will be played on weekends, with the sole exclusion coming on Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday, Monday, January 21 against the Milwaukee Wave. There are seven Friday night games and four Saturday nights. Orlando will be on the road for the entire month of February as part of a season-long five-game road trip. The SeaWolves will be their busiest in March when they have 10 games scheduled (five home, five away).
Orlando will play their first three games at home before hitting the road for the first time on December 29 and January 12 against the Tropics. They will leave the state for the first time on January 27 when they travel to Utica, New York.
"We are excited to have our schedule and we think it is a good balance of dates and opponents," said SeaWolves GM Chris Kokalis. "Having all of our games on weekends or holidays is fan and family friendly, so I'd like to thank the league and Osceola Heritage Park for their work on our behalf."
Before the regular season kicks off, the SeaWolves will host Brazil's National Minifootball Team on November 10. The first 3,000 fans in attendance for the team's first ever game, will receive a Luke Boden replica jersey. The match takes place at 7:05pm at the Silver Spurs Arena. Tickets for this game, starting at just $15, are on sale now at the Silver Spurs Arena Box Office or online at ticketmaster.com. All season ticket holders are guaranteed a replica jersey with their purchase of 2018-19 season tickets, which also include the Brazil game.
