MELVINDALE, Mich., Jan. 12, 2014 - Kenneth Fultz put together another three-goal game but the rest of the Heat could not match his effort as Harrisburg fell to the Detroit Waza 12-6 Sunday afternoon in a Professional Arena Soccer League match at the Melvindale Civic Arena.

The loss was the fourth straight in league play for the Heat (3-7 in the PASL, 5-7 overall), who fell three games behind the Waza (6-4) for the third and final guaranteed playoff spot in the PASL's Eastern Division with six games remaining in the regular season.

Fultz's three goals - his third three-goal game of the season - came in the first 31 minutes as the Heat worked to tie the score at 3 early in the third quarter.

The Waza then scored seven of the next eight goals, including five straight in the first eight minutes of the fourth quarter, to take a 10-4 lead and break open the game.

Tom Mellor, the Heat's top point producer with 27 points, was held to a single assist after tying his own single-game franchise record with six points in Saturday's 9-8 loss at Cincinnati.
