HARRISBURG, Pa, Dec. 17, 2013 - Given Sir Paul McCartney's missed opportunity to snag a free T-shirt Monday night at the Brooklyn Nets' home game against the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA, the Harrisburg Heat are extending an open invitation to the music icon to attend any of the Heat's seven remaining home games.
The second-year Professional Arena Soccer League team will make certain Sir Paul gets a free T-shirt. Probably a complementary scarf, coffee mug and foam No. 1 finger, too. We will even let him sing the National Anthem.
Sir Paul may take advantage of this fabulous offer as early as Thursday night, when the Heat host ReAL Harrisburg FC in an Open Cup match at Sports City Harrisburg. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. at the Heat's training facility at 4141 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg.
Sir Paul also can see the Heat play their next home game at the Equine Arena - we hear he loves horses - on Saturday, when the Heat host the Detroit Waza at 7:05 p.m.
