
Harrington Becomes RiverKings First Call Up

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings forward Matt Harrington has been loaned to the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers, the team announced today.
Harrington, 24, is second on the team with 17 points (10g, 7a) in 21 games this season. He has back-to-back shootout game-winning goals for the RiverKings. Harrington is in his third season with the RiverKings and this is his first ECHL call up of his career.
With Harrington in Wheeling the RiverKings have activated defenseman Paul Clancy from IR. Clancy, 24, had one goal and one assist in nine games before being placed on IR December 6.
The RiverKings are back home Saturday, Jan. 3 for Elvis Night. The RiverKings will wear special Elvis jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game to benefit the RiverKings ReachOut Fund. There will also be performances by the Ice Sisters during the game and kids in costume get in for free. Single-game tickets can be purchased at riverkings.com/ticketmaster and groups of 15 or more get a discount, with group tickets starting at $8 per ticket, by calling the front office at 662-342-1755.
