FORT MYERS, Fla. - Misael Urbina lined two hits Sunday, but the Jupiter Hammerheads took the series finale 8-2 at Hammond Stadium.

Urbina lined a double off the wall in the first and singled sharply in the third, but the Mighty Mussels could only manage four hits as a team.

In a scoreless game in the top of the first, Hammerheads (30-35) shortstop Nasim Nunez lined a single to right before advancing to second on a passed ball. Jan Mercado then singled to center to score Nunez and give Jupiter a 1-0 lead.

Two batters later, Jaceon Cody singled to right to plate Mercado and extend the lead to 2-0. The next hitter was Dalvy Rosario, who lined a base hit to right to move Cody to third. After Rosario stole second, Davis Bradshaw ripped a two-run single to right to cap the inning at 4-0 Hammerheads.

With one out in the bottom of the frame, Urbina smoked a double off the base of the fence in left. With two outs, Yunior Severino dropped a hit into left to plate Urbina and cut the deficit to 4-1.

Fort Myers added a run in the fifth on a Charles Mack double and Jupiter throwing error, but it was far from enough.

The Hammerheads added a run in the fifth on three singles before scoring three more against Steven Cruz in the seventh.

Mighty Mussels starter Zarion Sharpe (3-2) tossed a career-high six innings, but surrendered five runs on 10 hits.

The Mighty Mussels will remain at home to start a six-game series with the Daytona Tortugas at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Coverage will begin at 6:45 p.m. on the Mighty Mussels Baseball Network.
