Corpus Christi Hammerheads News Release
Corpus Christi, TX- The defensive end position is one of the most important and most difficult positions to play in football. The DE has to be a special kind of player that is one of the strongest as well as fastest players on the team and also serves as the Anchor of the defense. The perfect mix of size, strength, athleticism, agility, and speed is needed to excel at this position. The Corpus Christi Hammerheads will hold a press conference at Texas Roadhouse on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 3 PM to announce the signing of a new Hammerhead, their defensive anchor. He is expected to make an instant impact and serve as the driving force of a defense that is quickly taking shape as the benchmark that the rest of the league must strive to reach.
With 4 years of NFL experience, an NFL Europe MVP, and a Superbowl start under his belt, he will no doubt take on a role as a leader to be looked up to as well as learn from th`roughout the season. This addition instantly makes the Hammerhead's Defense a force to be reckoned with and offers a glimpse of the caliber of play Corpus Christi can expect from their team this year. Watch out NIFL, the Hammerheads have a new shark lurking in the water, and this shark is TITANIC.
