Hawgs to hold Family Fun Day and Season Ticket Rush

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Daytona Beach Hawgs invite everyone to attend their Family Fun Day and Season Ticket Rush on Saturday, February 5 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach.
There will be free food, yes FREE FOOD, games, face painting, performances by area dance teams and music bands, and much, much more.
Hawg players and the Harleigh Girl dancers will be there to meet and greet fans as preparations continue for the March 19 season against the Lakeland Thunderbolts.
Of course, there will be the opportunity to purchase season tickets for the Hawgs' inaugural National Indoor Football League Season for as low as $84 for seven action-filled home games in the Ocean Center.
"This is a terrific opportunity to get to meet us and see what we're all about,'' said Head Coach/General Manager Ervin Bryson. "We're just coming together with the community -- one tackle at a time.''
The Hawgs will debut their uniforms and helmets during the event as well as one of their unusual in-game promotions -- "The Herman Edwards Snarl Off," where contestants will have the opportunity to recreate the New York Jets coach's famous soundbite "YOU PLAY...TO WIN ... THE GAME ..." for prizes.
"I didn't come up with that one but I like it,'' Bryson said.
