The Hamilton Bulldogs will play the Syracuse Crunch (AHL Affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks) at Copps Coliseum on Friday January 6th, 2012 at 7:30 pm. The 'Dogs then travel to battle the Toronto Marlies (AHL Affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) on Saturday January 7th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. They then return home to play against the Oklahoma City Barons (AHL Affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers) on Sunday, January 8th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.

For the game against the Syracuse Crunch and at all Friday night Hamilton Bulldogs home games at Copps Coliseum, fans can purchase draft beer for only $3.00 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Fans must be of legal drinking age and are asked to drink responsibly.

For the game against the Oklahoma City Barons and at all Sunday afternoon home games, fans can also purchase a "Pizza Pizza Family Pack", which includes four tickets to the game and a $20.00 food and beverage voucher for only $60.00! The Hamilton Bulldogs faced off against the Toronto Marlies at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario on Monday, December 26th, 2011 and won 6-3. Olivier Fortier scored his fourth and fifth of the season while Robert Mayer earned his third win of the season stopping the 29 shots he faced. Both Joe Colborne and Ryan Hamilton netted their 11th goal of the season.

The St. John's IceCaps defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-1 on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 at Copps Coliseum. Andreas Engqvist scored his eighth goal of the season during the third period while Nathan Lawson stopped 23 of the 26 shots he faced. Both Kevin Clark and Eric O'Dell scored their sixth goal of the season and David Aebischer made 39 saves.

The Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Rochester Americans 5-4 at Blue Cross Arena on Friday, December 30th, 2011. Mitch Wahl scored his first and second goals of the season, while Andreas Engqvist netted his ninth of the season. Aaron Palushaj scored the game-winner in the third period while Robert Mayer made 35 saves on 39 shots for his fourth win of the season. Derek Whitmore scored his team-leading 14th goal for the Amerks.

The Hamilton Bulldogs faced off against the Lake Erie Monsters on home ice at Copps Coliseum on Saturday, December 31st, 2011 and were edged out 3-2 in a shootout. Phil Lefebvre scored his second goal of the season while Olivier Fortier tied the game late in the game with his sixth goal of the season. Robert Mayer stopped 19 of the 21 shots he faced. Tyson Barrie scored the shootout-winner for the Monsters while Patrick Bordeleau and Zach Cohen scored their first goal of the season in regulation.

There are over 40 former Hamilton Bulldogs currently on NHL rosters. Over 60 percent of all former 'Dogs have played in at least one NHL game. Here are a few highlights and accomplishments of ex-Hamilton Bulldogs from this past week:

- Toronto C Mikhail Grabovski picked up a helper against the Islanders (Dec. 23), scored two goals versus the Florida Panthers (Dec. 27), and helped set up a goal against the Carolina Hurricanes (Dec. 29)

- Montreal D Raphael Diaz helped set up three goals against the Ottawa Senators (Dec. 27) and picked up two helpers against the Tampa Bay Lightning (Dec. 29)

- Dallas RW Michael Ryder found the twine against the Flyers (Dec. 21), scored a goal and picked up two assists against the Nashville Predators (Dec. 23), found the back of the net versus the St. Louis Blues (Dec. 26), and added another to his goal totals against the Boston Bruins (Dec. 30).

- Nashville LW Sergei Kostitsyn scored a hat trick against the Calgary Flames (Jan. 1)

- Tampa Bay RW J.T. Wyman scored his first NHL goal and assist against the Montreal Canadiens (Dec. 29)
