
Halmo Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has announced that forward Michael Halmo is the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 6th, 2011. Halmo and his Attack mates had only one game last week, a 4-1 win over the Peterborough Petes.
Halmo managed to grab three assists in the victory bringing his season point total up to 38. The Cambridge, ON. native has set a career high in goals (18), points (38) and sits 3 assists and 9 penalty minutes back of career highs in those areas as well.
The Attack is back in action this Thursday when they travel to Windsor and Kitchener. Both games can be heard live on Grey Motors Bear Radio with Fred Wallace or tune into local Rogers Channel 53 for game telecasts. The Attack will be back at home to face the London Knights on Saturday. Game time is 7:30pm.
