
Haak Leads Air Force in Friday Night Win

Former Aberdeen Wing Kyle Haak made his presence known, scoring two goals in Air Force's 5-4 overtime win against #5 Denver on Friday night. Â The Okemos, MI native scored the go-ahead goal for the Falcons on the power play at 10:29 of the second period and also potted the squad's fourth goal at 11:18 of the third period.
"We are happy to see Kyle start his freshman season by getting on the score sheet in a big way," Wings Head Coach Francis Anzalone said. Â "Kyle does it right every day and has a bright future ahead of him. Â We look forward to seeing him do great things at Air Force this season."
Haak spent three full seasons in Aberdeen (2012-15) and captained the Wings during the 2014-2015 season. Â He represented the Wings and the Central Division at last year's NAHL Top Prospects Event, and amassed 120 points in 175 regular season games over three years in Aberdeen.
