
Blues Come Home with 5 out of 6 Points this Weekend

Springfield Jr. Blues News Release
The Jr. Blues played hard on Sunday but lost in a shootout to the Coulee Region Chill. Final score 4-3. In the 1st period Jeff Skinner got the Blues on the board assisted by Drew Richter, Luke Radetic. Joey Lupo kept things going in the 2nd assited by Hunter Schneider, Anthony Scarsella. Kyle Meeh scored at 12:50 of the 2nd to go up 3-1 over the Chill. Brady Tomlak, Trevor Stone had assist on Meeh's goal. The Chill able to score at the end of the 2nd and agian early in the 3rd to tie it up 3-3. Neither team could score in the 3 on 3 overtime and we went to a shootout. The Chill were able to score with their last shooter in the shootout for the win. Tommy Nappier had 43 saves.
   The Jr. Blues come back to Springfield with 5 out of 6 possible points this weekend. On Saturday The Jr. Blues achieved 600 wins as a franchise. This weekend the Blues will travel to Topeka for 2 games. All games can be streamed on http://www.fasthockey.com.
