Wildcats goaltender Justin Kapelmaster was named the NAHL South Division's Star of the Week.
"We recruited Kapelmaster because of his success at the junior level and his ability to take a team a long way," Wildcats Head Coach John LaFontaine said. "He's already become very comfortable in this league. Not only have we been thrilled with his ability to lead, but his ability to win games for us, as well."
Kapelmaster has had a phenomenal start to the season for the Cats, remaining undefeated with a 6-0 record and earning a phenomenal .936 save percentage and a 1.67 goals against average.
Over the course of the series in Corpus Christi against the IceRays, Kapelmaster conceded only two goals and stopped 55 of the 57 shots fired his way.
