
Gwinnett Braves Homestand Highlights: May 11-17

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves come back to Coolray Field on Monday, May 11 for a seven-game homestand against two non-divisional opponents. They will begin with a four-game series against the Syracuse Chiefs of the International League North Division and finish with three contests vs. the Louisville Bats of the IL West.
The homestand opens at 6:35 p.m. Monday with "Meal Deal Monday" against Syracuse, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Fans can follow the G-Braves on social media to learn about weekly Meal Deals. The next two games of the series vs. the Chiefs also begin at 6:35 p.m. All Infield Box and Field Box seats are two for the price of one on May 12 for a "Two-For-Tuesday" game.
Fans can follow along with the on-field action May 13 for "Winning Wednesday" with Baseball Bingo for the chance to win great prizes. It's also "Kids Eat Free" night, when all kids ages 12 and under receive a voucher for a free hot dog, chips and soft drink.
The series finale against Syracuse begins at 10:35 a.m. Thursday, May 14 on "Education Day" presented by Belk. The game will feature an Educational Zone on the concourse that will allow students to try out baseball equipment and test their skills with various math and science activities.
The three-game set with the Louisville Bats will start at 7:05 p.m. May 15 on "Fireworks Friday," with a spectacular fireworks show on the field after the game. It is also "ALS Awareness Night," as representatives from the ALS Association Georgia Chapter will be at the stadium to promote the fight against the disease.
The first 2,000 fans who come through the gates for the 7:05 p.m. game May 16 against Louisville will receive a G-Braves Fleece Blanket, courtesy of Coolray Heating and Cooling. Fans will also be able to try to solve an entertaining mystery that will run throughout the game as part of "Clue Night."
The homestand wraps up with "Sunday Funday" activities for the 2:05 p.m. game May 17 vs. the Bats. Bring the family out early for a Pre-Game Catch on the Field. Catch will begin when gates open at 1 p.m. and last for 20 minutes. After the game, all kids 12 and under will get to run the bases.
