Grrrowl strike deal with apartment community

GREENVILLE, SC - The Greenville Grrrowl have announced a partnership with the COLONIAL VILLAGE at CALEDON WOOD Apartment Community for the 2005-06 season. Grrrowl players will move into the luxury apartment community during training camp and will remain there until the conclusion of the season.

Caledon Wood is located near the intersection of Pelham and Haywood Road in Greenville, SC. The apartments are less than four miles away from both the BI-LO Center and the Pavilion, which serves as an occasional practice rink for the Grrrowl.

"We are excited about our new partnership with Caledon Wood," said Ryan Stewart, General Manager of the Grrrowl. "It's a beautiful community and the management has been first-class all the way. Our players will surely enjoy staying there this season."

The 15-building community is owned and operated by COLONIAL PROPERTIES TRUST, one of the largest Real Estate Investment Trusts in the country. The company operates multifamily, office, and retail properties, mostly in Sunbelt states including Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia

In addition to the 350 housing units, Caledon Wood also contains two pools, a tennis court, fitness center, and business center. Other amenities include: patios, balconies, washer/dryer connections, fireplaces, bay windows, vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, on-site laundry, outside storage, and wheelchair access.
