Beloit Sky Carp News Release
The Snappers' new Groundskeeper, Blake Bostelman, has been pretty busy in his first couple weeks. Preparing the field for 70 Snappers games and a number of Beloit Memorial High School, Beloit College, and Beloit American Legion games is no easy task. Blake has been working tirelessly to get Pohlman Field ready for Opening Day in less than two weeks.
"It's always a task getting a baseball field ready for one game," said Bostelman. "Preparing for a full season is an even bigger challenge. I'm looking forward to getting this year rolling."
"This is always a fun time of the year for us," said General Manager Jeff Vohs. "Getting the field ready is a sign that the season is almost here. As a staff we are very excited about this season of Snappers Baseball."
