Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that the team has added defenseman Justin Dacosta.

Dacosta played nine games this year with the IHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks. He joined the CHL's Colorado Eagles last year for 10 playoff games as the team advanced to the league finals.

The 24-year-old played three years of college hockey at the University of New Brunswick after five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League.

The Grizzlies (12-4) return to action tonight at 7 p.m. when they will welcome the Alaska Aces to the E-Center as they play game six of a ten-game home stand. Tonight is the team's annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are invited to bring stuffed animals to the game to throw onto the ice following the team's first goal. The toys will then be donated to patients at Primary Children's Medical Center during the team's pre-Christmas visit.
