Fresno Grizzlies News Release
FRESNO â The Fresno Grizzlies, the triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, return to Grizzlies Stadium tomorrow for a brief 4-game series against the Las Vegas 51s (Los Angeles Dodgers).
The Grizzlies return home after splitting a 4-game series against Southern Division leader, the Tucson Sidewinders.
Bring your thirst, as the Grizzlies host "Thirsty Thursday," to kick off the homestand. All 12oz. beverages will be just $1.
Friday the Grizzlies are teaming up with Fresno County Department of Community Health Tobacco Program for a "smoke free" atmosphere throughout the game. This partnership includes a proactive theme: "Grizzlies Kick Butts - Be Tobacco Free." Although there are designated smoking areas within Grizzlies Stadium, all fans in attendance are encouraged to not light-up. The festivities include the first 3,000 fans to receive a seat cushion presented by Fresno County Department of Community Health Tobacco Program. Also Friday night come early to hear the sounds of "Even Cale," in our Friday Night Jams series.
Saturday we'll light up the sky with a post-game fireworks show presented by AARP. AARP and the Grizzlies will offer individuals 50+ with a valid ID $5 field level reserved seats on a walk-up basis with availability.
The home stand wraps up with a 2:05 contest on Sunday, including water bottles presented by Community Medical Center Asthma Management Program to the first 5,000 fans. Following the game children 12 and under are encouraged to participate in the Fresno World of Baseball Run the Bases.
